Brief Description:  Gear leg fairings

Started the gear leg fairings. Since they will be polished, it's easier to do the initial polishing when flat, so I cut a sheet of .025 that was big enough for both fairings.

Last night I put the patterns into my CAD program, and today I printed them out on my office plotter.

With the sheet polished, I flipped it over and used spray-cement to attach the patterns (photo 2).

I cut out the fairings, but left an extra inch at each end in case I need to do some tweaking. Photo 3 shows the polished fairings.

Not I have to find out the best way to bend these. Annealing?
