Just got back from Airventure, Oshkosh! As always it was great to see other Sonex folks, the factory folks, and lots of Sonex aircraft. But now it's back to work!!
I worked on three things tonight:
1. Installed the new rocker block for the left rocker assembly, after breaking the original one. But I found a gouge in the stud that holds the rocker assembly on, and I'm concerned about the stud breaking in the futuer. I have asked Sonex about it, so I am holding off installing the rocker assembly.
2. I looked at what is necessary to install the new Sandia STX-165 transponder. I need a Tee adapter and some more 1/4" ID tubing for the static air connection. I also need to have an antenna coax made.
3. I began to remake my fuel tank vent with some JB Weld.
