Hooked up the battery and turned on the master switch. No snap-crackle-pop!
Tried the smoke system switch and that worked.
Tried the red cockpit and that worked.
I don't want to try the avionics until I get the programmable Ztron switches, programmed. Their switch uses an interface cable and software to program. However, the interface at the computer end is a 9 pin female serial connector. Every computer in my house has a 15 pin female connector. So it's the wrong sex and the wrong # of pins. Also, the software won't run on my XP computer (gives me an error message) even though it's supposed to. When I try to run on two other laptops I get COM port errors.
So far I am NOT impressed by the Ztron switch/breaker, and NOT impressed with the cavalier attitude I get from the company. I'm waiting for a response back about the problems I note above.
