A very long time ago I mis-cut the seat pan, making the stick openings too large. While it all seems to work fine, I decided to add some metal back in. To get in/out of a Sonex you need to step on the seat, so this will help prevent a wayward foot from going down an enlarged opening. I have to do it to the other side, too.
I bought clear silicone sealant (which is OK for Lexan) and installed it around the OAT probe in the windscreen. The blue painter's tape was to make sure I didn't get any on the windscreen.
