- With the center panel painted, I put it in the oven at 200 deg for 1 hr (per instructions) to cure the crinkle paint.
- After it cooled, I installed the Z-Tron 8-switch device. Each switch is ALSO a programmable solid state breaker, so they do double duty. The only problem is the dummies are making them (on purpose) with the switches upside down from conventional switches! Normally the pressing the rocker switch at the top is the ON function, and pushing the rocker switch at the bottom is the OFF position. Not wishing to be "non-standard" I flipped the device to the correct orientation, but of course all the text is upside down!
I contacted the company and they said, "yes, we know this is not conventional and this is the way we are making them." Dumb!
