Brief Description:  Continue fitting right cowl

Cowls suck!

The lower section of the cowl seems to fit OK now that I did some more trimming around the gear leg. And it fits well right up to the point where the fuselage side meets the windscreen. At that point the fuselage takes an acute turn.

In photo #1 the cowls is SUPPOSED to be flush, or close to it, with the edge of the blue tape (the blue tape ends at the edge of the windscreen). But you can see it's way off.

In photo #2, if I press the cowl to ft as it goes around the acute angle, the cowl bulges upward a great deal. If I press it down it makes several compound curves that can't be maintained. There is a huge amount of stress on the cowl, and it bulges in weird ways.

I'm considering making the horizontal split AFTER setting the vertical hinge, but BEFORE setting the upper cowl, and before setting the left cowl at all. That will give me the entire upper section of the right cowl to cut and modify as required. Major surgery, but I don't see a way around it right now.

Pressing the upper cowl to fit at the lower edge makes the rest BULGE upward.
