In photo 1 the bottom edge of the cowl looks like it needs to come back more.
In photo 2 the cowl slipped down a bit so the transition between the cowl and the fuselage is wrong. But even when the cowl is lifted up, the transition is still off. So I think I need to cut some of the back edge of the cowl off to fix that, and to bring the cowl closer to the fuselage bottom.
Some people have reported a good deal of interference between the air cleaner and the bottom of the cowl, so I put my air cleaner on to check. In photo 3 you can see the bolt head just barely touches the cowl.
I'm also considering creating a fiberglass "scoop" in the cowl to get cool air to the air filter. But I'll wait on that until the cowl is completely fitted.
