Brief Description:  New cockpit fuel line

Last time I worked on the fuel line to the firewall I put in a firewall fitting that was straight on the cockpit side, and 45 deg on the firewall side.

When I went to finish making the new braided fuel line I saw that the straight fitting inside was going to put the fuel line right into the backside of the rudder pedals. So reversed the firewall fitting so the 45 was on the cockpit side (photo #2) and the straight end is on the firewall side (photo #2; which is how I saw it in a photo of a factory Sonex).

With the 45 deg part facing up and to the port side, the braided fuel line had just the right bend to keep it away from the rudder pedals.

Once again, I did the braided line for 2 reasons:
1. It seems a lot more resistant to getting accidentally kicked, or coming loose. The specified aluminum tubing scares me in the cockpit. Too flimsy.
2. The specified method has the fuel line going through a simple rubber grommet in the firewall. I wanted a more fire resistant fitting at the firewall.
