I spent more time scratching my head and looking at other web sites, than actually doing anything.

I used an angle for alignment, but realized I needed one much longer. I happen to have some that are for the fuselage, but came with my wing kit. I'll use that tomorrow.
I used 1/4" wood dowels for the spacing between the flap and aileron.
Like the web site above noted, the edge distance on the flap hinge was going to be too small with the -3 hinge half. So I'm ordering a -4 hinge from AC Spruce. I'll have to wait to do anything, until that shows up.
