Brief Description: Pitot mast support + roll servo look-ahead
Spent 45 minutes installing a small bracket to give the pitot most a little more support (angle comes with the install kit). I will need to use a 3.6 rivet when I rivet the skin to that angle.
Running out of things to do, so I looked ahead to installing the roll-servo for the Dynon autopilot. Turns out 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the bellcrank arms to the spar, need to come out, to install the roll servo mount brackets. Fortunately those bolts are secured into nutplates, so easy to remove.
There is some play in the mount brackets for installing the servo. I don''t like the idea of doing that later, so I think I will buy the roll-servo now, and install it.That will allow me to more easily run the wiring, too.
