Received REALLY bad news from Vans last week. My fuselage kit was supposed to arrive Sept/Oct, but is now scheduled for Dec/Jan; a 3-4 month delay. That really sucks. Van's hasn't made any of their target dates for my stuff. Very disappointing.
I was away for the Labor Day weekend, so back to work on the wings. Of course, now that the fuselage is delayed, there really is no hurry to finish the wings. There's not even anything else I can do in that period.
Today I prime painted the interior surfaces of the leading edge wing skin. Put it back into the cradles and cleco'd everything. Got the first rib riveted in place.
