Brief Description: Start Left Wing & Dynon Pitot Mast (1 of 3)
I'm using Dynon avionics and heated pitot. So I needed to mount the pitot mast. I looked at lots of other builders' locations at Airventure, and this is the most prevalent.
The template has 4 holes that align with the spar/skin holes, so I poked a hole at each, and hung the template from the clecos just to make sure it was the right location and everything would fit.
Then I took the skin off, cleco'd the template onto the skin, and transfered the outline to the skin. I left the plastic on, but I should have removed it and marked the Sharpie on the metal. When I was doing the final trimming the plastic was just getting in the way.
