Brief Description:  RIGHT wing assembly (1 of 2)

Riveted on the outboard leading edge assembly, with the help of my friend Max. Max built and flew a Waiex (Y-tail version othe Sonex), and lots of my clecos came from his shop.

There was enough room, sticking my hands down the lightening holes, to get the bucking bar in place while Max ran the rivet gun.

All the rivets at the wing spar were done with rivet squeezers.

Then installed the fuel tank with about half the bolts and screws, per the instructions.

NOTE:
AFTER we began riveting on the upper, inboard wing skin, did we realize that we needed to install the countersunk rivets at each rib, that are UNDER the fuel tank skin! Nothing in the instructions or plans pointed that out. Poor instructions, again. So we finished our riveting for the day, and I'll go back and take the tank OFF so I can set those rivets, then put the tank back on.
