The last prep before being able to start putting skins back on the skeleton, was to machine countersink all the rivet holes in the main spar flanges. I just did those with a hand deburring tool. Faster and more accurate than a drill stop. But it does make your arm tired!
Then I prepared the W00723 splice plate. The holes had to be dimpled for rivets and screws, and then nut plates riveted on.
Tomorrow I can actually start cleco'ing on wing skins!
