I need to replace the metal float arm for the right wing float. I couldn't figure out how to bend the wire into a shepherd's crook for the old style float, so I removed the wire from the new style float I have, and bent the wire to fit that. Much easier. The difficulty was flattening the end of the wire where it exits the float. It needs to flare out to stay on, but the wire is VERY hard steel.
