Brief Description:  Where to locate fuel return?

I will likely have a fuel injected engine, and those need a return to both tanks. I've not seen an RV-7 wing installed, so I don't know if certain locations or configurations would interfered later on. I'm hoping someone in the RV community can help.

This is the left wing with a flop tube. The blue fitting is the vent bulkhead fitting. If you zoom in to that area I drew in a possible location with a Sharpie. The type of fitting I'm proposing to use would be the same 90 deg fitting used at the nose of the tank when using th flop tube: straight on the fuselage-side, then 90 deg down inside the tank.

I'd then attach a short section of aluminum tubing that would reach down close to the bottom of the tank. You want to try to keep the oujtlet submerged in fuel so you don't introduce frothing or atomization of the return fuel.

Does this look like a good location? Anyone have photos of where they put their returns?

They are AN-6, but the way. Same as the supplies.

Vent installed. Maybe put the fuel return where noted (left of vent)?

Not this location, but here's how the fitting would look.
