The left tank for an aerobatic setup is different. The flop tube goes to an exit point in the leading edge.
I wired the flop tube fittings per the plans. That keeps the flop tube from unscrewing from the bulkhead fitting. But the flop tube moving up and down in the tank could turn the bulkhead fitting going through the NOSE. So the bracket in photo #2 is really to hold the flop tube steady so it can't twist the blue bulkhead fitting.
