Brief Description: LEFT tank misc fittings & interiors (1 of 2)
Worked on the various things that have to get done inside the tank before closing it up. - Installed anti-hang-up strap for flop tube. - Made the 2nd anti-hang-up strap at the access opening, but will install that after the flop tube plumbing is done. - Installed the nose reinforcing plate and angles. - Installed the vent line and the vent bulkhead fitting (see photo on next page for outboard end of vent line).
Note: I may be installing a fuel injected engine (UL Power?) and those require a fuel return line as well. So I ordered 2 extra AN-6 bulkhead fittings that will need to be installed before closing up the tank. If I don't end up using a FI engine, I will just cap the fitting. But at least it will be there if I need it.
