After placing all the stiffener rivets in the skin, rivet tape (picture on previous page) is put over the factory heads to hold them in place.
Sealing all the stiffeners took two batches of sealant, which was a good amount of time to work with the first and second half of the stiffeners.
Like everyone says, the stuff sure is sticky! So it's impossible to make everything look pretty. You just make sure you fillet everything, and encapsulate all the shop heads of the rivets.
