Brief Description: Tank dimples + fuel float fitting
Finished dimpling the left tank skin.
Then decided to work on fitting the fuel float/sender. You have to figure out all the bends yourself. I looked at some other web sites to get a head start.
I have a box of metal coat hangars that I use for test bending things like this (and aluminum tubing), so I cut a bunch, then played around with different bend scenarios.
The #8 (in my photo) stiffener needed to get turned 180 deg from what's in the photo, so the float would not hit it.
I think I have a coat hanger mock-up that works, but it was getting late, so I'll work on it again tomorrow.
