Brief Description:  Scuff tank skin + countersink nutplates

I dimpled the tank skin before scuffing the surfaces in preperation for installing the tank sealant. So I needed a way to scuff around the dimples. I did not want to use a wire brush, so I didn't leave steel bits in the aluminum.

So I found these spinning nylon wheels of different abbrasiveness. The gray one is the course, and that worked well. I then want back with coarse sandpaper to further roughen up the areas.

I also finished mechanically countersinking the nutplates that hold the wing access plates onto the bottom of the wing. I opted to do that, along with doing less than full dimpling of the access plates, then finishing off the access plate dimples with a quick spin of the deburring tool, to finish off the depth of the dimples. It worked really well for the other plates I did earlier.

Ordered the Proseal/Chemseal tank sealant today.
