I spent time looking for the W-00723 splice plate. Nothing in the kit looked like the bare (no holes) and bent strip on the drawings, and as described in the instructions.
Apparently they are now making it as part of the tank skin. In photo 1 you an see that it needs to be cut away from the tank skin, and the edged filed and finished to get rid of the nubs.
The old way required you to align and drill all those holes, so this is MUCH better! I just wish they would update the drawings, or at least the written instructions.
