Page 2 of 2 With both tips trimmed and fitted, it was time to rivet. To spread the load of the rivet at the holes in the fiberglass, I used small squares of aluminum at each rivet hole. Photo #2. The open side of these tips will get filled, but I'm going to rivet on the elevator tips, first.
