I finally found a can (yes, just ONE) of primer at a store 11 miles away. That's the only one around! So I finished priming the spars.
I spent time cleaning up the shelves in my basement shop. I had too many things on my work table, so wanted to get things off of there. It gave me an excuse to throw out 10 year old paint cans, and a bunch of other junk.
I also received my NUMATX rivet squeezer. It uses hydraulic pressure to increase the air pressure from my compressor, to set rivets. It works solely by pressure, so you don't have to change any dimensions at the rivet squeezer. Instead you dial up a certain pressure on your compressor for a given rivet size. Really slick, really fast, and way better than a rivet gun and bucking bar. Plus it squeezes #4 rivets, which ar pretty dang hard to set with a hand squeezer.
And finally, I took a picture of an AN bolt gauge I bought at Airventure this summer. Really helps to identify the correct bolts, since Vans just sends you a package full of them, and you don't know which is which.
