Brief Description:  Finished assembling RIGHT elevator

Riveted the right elevator skin to the skeleton.

Everything is reachable with a hand squeezer, except the last 2 rivets near the trailing edge (2 rivets x 2 faces x 2 ends = 8 rivets). The next to last rivet is easily set with the 1/4" steel plate and the rivet gun.

But the last rivet closest to the trailing edge is a BITCH!! I can only get a 1/8" steel plate in there as a bucking bar. It's tight and it's cumbersome. But worst of all, that thin steel plate has so little mass that it takes MANY tries with the rivet gut to get it set. And since it bounces around, being so light, you have to be really careful not to let the plate or the rivet gun slide/bounce off the surfaces.

It would be easier, and less tight, if Vans would offset the 4 rivets on opposite faces. They are almost aligned, and so you can't get a wider plate/bucking bar in there.

Rolling the leading edge is the only thing left (besides the fiberglass tip, which will get done later).

I'll be in NYC all next week, so I won't be able to make any progress for at least 5 days. Rats!
