When drilling a pilot hole for the #12 hole (to hold the counterweight), I got the drill going a little too fast, and when it snagged the lead, the tip of the bit brok off! Crap!
I though about it a while: 1. The hole has to be counter sunk anyway. 2. Lead can be "fixed" by melting lead and filling the hole.
So I drilled many small holes around the broken bit, and carved out the lead around the bit with the needle nose pliers you see in the 3rd picture.
I did finally get it out, but the whole thing took about an hour.
