Brief Description: Drilling of WIX-T1107R with WIX-T11-02R
Lined up pilot holes for drilling. Drilled, deburred all holes for mating the Right Fwd Channel Spar to the Hockey Stick.
The Junction of the Hockey Stick, Fwd Spar Channel and Inside Rib are mated with WIX-T11-05 & 06 R. While the holes to the inner parts next to these braces are predrilled, the holes to the braces are not.
Even though the mfr was not very clear on this, i suspect the skin will be needed to properly align these braces (one at a time) for correct alignment for drilling.
Per the Mfr on 7/29:
"Parts that don’t have matching holes are positioned according the provided dimensions, clamped in lace, and then the pilot hole is used as guide to transfer the hole through the mating part.
Rivets are installed with the pre-formed head against the most thin material whenever possible. Exceptions occur, as common sense would dictate.
The plans show the factory head as a dome in profile and the shop head as a rectangle. The plans show the factory head of a rivet as a solid circle when the head if visible in a particular view, and as a hidden line when the factory head is hidden in a view."
