After much ado about primer and what to do....I've decided to Alodine and prime with AKZO two part epoxy. Only the best for my plane....Priming is one of those goofy things about building. Everyone has an opinion, but not many people want to discuss the cost versus value of each method. Any priming is overkill if you want your plane to last 20 years. If you want your grand kids (well I'm 37 today) to fly this thing, then go all the way with the best. (The best in this case equates to the most long lasting system from a durability and stability standpoint. Of course any primer system is suseptable to nicks and scratches.)
