It has been quite a while since I have done much work on the Challenger; the old shop was sold and I was forced to seek a new place to complete building of the Challenger. So I bought this all metal shop directly behind my current home. All I need now is to find a used propane furnace or heater to install so I have heat, and I'll be completing this project by the end of March. This is my goal, to have the bird flying by the first week of May. Of course I need to get the FAA to cooperate with my goals too ..... the weather has been very cold with more snow storms moving in tonight. During the move it was about + 20 degrees out, but at least the very high winds of the last week have died down so no problems were encountered during the move.As you can see I have plenty of light now, and more than enough room; once I have heat installed it should be quite nice to work in a well lit shop.4 March 2006 : Note: I have found a nice propane heater and installed it in the shop and now have plenty of heat .... and the cost; only the effort to go & get the unit and hook it up.
