Brief Description:  Initial purchase inspection

On August 5, 2006 I purchased a Buker Jungster I project from my good friend Jay Cook. I have worked with Jay in the past during his Kitfox build project, and will be working with him on his next project, a Supermarine Spitfire Mark V project! What an ambitious man. The workmanship of this project has been exquisite, Jay is obssessed with perfection in details. At this point the aircraft needs some small detail finishing of the wings, the fuselage needs some modifications, and finish work. The major work left is to find & install a Lycoming O-290-D engine.I will be using Stits Polyfiber process exclusively on this for covering, and plan to install an electrical system in the bird as well. Colours will be Pre- WWII German gray / black / red markings.
