Brief Description: Installed Skyview Display and GPS antenna
Installed the Skyview D1000 Display and connected the 37-pin D-sub and 9-pin D-sub harnesses to the back of the display. Attached the SV-GPS-250 to the F-1201Z Retaining Plate. I had to widen the holes in the Retaining Plate and F-1201R Antenna Shelf to allow the GPS wires to pass without interference from edges of the holes. I used AN526C832R8 screws because the AN526C632R8 prescribed in the plans are too small (narrow). Passed the GPS wires through a cushion clamp attached to the Engine Mount Standoff and firewall penetration hole, and into the panel. Inserted the pins from the GPS wires into a ES-00140 9-pin Male D-sub connector and placed a backshell around it. Connected the backshell assembly to the Control Module.
