Started Work on Weight and Balance. Per the plans I need t put 2-inch blocks under the main wheels. Tried to jack the aircraft but the 2 jacks I have do not go high enough even after putting three 2X4 wood blocks above them. Tried to roll the plane over the blocks but it was hard to do it by myself. Created a series of ramps leading to the 2-inch blocks and was finally successful. Leveled the plane by releasing air from the left main tire. Marked a line on the floor from the leading edge of the wings and extending to the outboard of the axles. Measured the distance between the line and the main wheel axles (D1 and D3) and between the line and the nose wheel axle (D2). The distances measured are:
D1 (from the left wheel axle to the wing leading edge): 23 - 6/8 inches (23.75). D2 (from nose wheel axle to the wing leading edge): 39 - 11/16 inches (39.68). D3 (from the right wheel axle to the wing leading edge): 23 - 6/8 inches (23.75).
