Brief Description: Sanded Canopy Fairing and drilled pivot holes
Sanded the cured Poly-Fiber UV Smooth Prime on the Canopy Fairing. Most of the pin holes and gaps in the fairing have been covered. There are still few holes to fill and final sanding to do. Drilled holes in the fairing to access the canopy pivot bolts. I drilled #30 holes first to locate the bolts and then enlarged holes using a combination of a curved knife, drill bits of different sizes and a rotary tool with a drum sander. The hole locations on the template did not not accurately match where the bolts are.
