Brief Description: Squeezed the Stabilator and Rudder
PAP G2-2: Squeezed the trailing edges of the Horizontal Stabilator, Anti-Servo Tab and Rudder where there was bulging of the skin. Put 2 dents in the top part of the rudder when I tried to fix pillowing. Will need to fill these areas with filler later. Installed the Tailcone Fairing and I noted interference between the H-Stab skin and the fairing on the right side when the Stab is elevated. Trimmed and sanded the skin on the right side. Measured the distance between the bottom of the Rudder trailing edge and the AST pushrod and barely made the nominal 7 1/8 inch distance horizontally.
34-15: Mixed epoxy resin and microballoons and filled the low areas at the right side of the Canopy Fairing.
