Brief Description: Drilled holes in Top Cowl and sanded edges
Trimmed and bent the left and right Cowl Hinge Pins. Put the Top Cowl on the fuselage and drilled #40 holes into the cowl and F-1201J and F-1201K Upper Cowl Hinges. Cut notches at the sides (front) of the Top Cowl to facilitate removing and inserting the Cowl Hinge Pins. Drilled #40 holes into the front of the Top and Bottom Cowls. Installed and removed the Top Cowl several times to sand the bottom and aft edges to remove the slight overlap between the side edges of the Top and Bottom Cowls. Also sanded the top edges of the Bottom Cowl. I still need to sand the edges some more to completely remove the overlap and for a better fit but will do it later and maybe after the engine is hung.
