Did more sanding of the Top and Bottom Cowls up to the scribe lines and also sanded the excess resin at the mating surfaces. Clamped the Top and Bottom Cowls, marked the hole locations at the front and drilled two #40 holes per the plans. Cut the slot in the scoop of the Bottom Cowl. Trimmed the excess material in the bottom cowl air inlet. Filed and sanded the edges of the 2 openings to the scribe lines. I was going to attach the cowls to the fuselage to drill holes but could not find the F-12117 hinges I previously made. I'll have fabricate new ones.
Did some shop work, vacuumed the dust from sanding the cowls and tore down the big powerplant kit crate.
