Tapped the Spar Pin Bushings to allow access to the forward most rivets that will attach the F-1204U-B and F-1204T Angles. This took some time and used a variety of tools and WD-40 to loosen them. Riveted the Angles using the prescribed Cherry Max rivets. The stems of the fwd and aft rivets broke off prematurely before satisfactory setting of the rivets. This occurred despite my attempts to position the nose of the rivet puller well. I will need to drill out the defective rivets and replace them. I will buy another rivet puller (s) to see if I’ll have better success. I wonder if putting solid rivets will be easier. Primed the part of the fuse side skins where the F-1270A Side Skin Doublers will be placed. Attached the U-1202C-B Outbd Doubler Plates, U-1202D-B Outbd Wear Plate and U-1202 Outbd Main Gear Attach Bracket to the Center Section Assembly with the F-1204V Template on the top. It took some time to locate certain parts and it was difficult to tighten the bolts because of the limited space. I had to use a 12 inch drill bit to match-drill the #30 holes.
