Brief Description: Work on hardware for Skyview upgrade
I don't have a lot of time on weekdays to go to the hangar, which is over 30 miles away, and work on the plane so I brought some small parts home that I can work on. I also brought my electric grinder home for the work I was planning to do. Deburred several parts including the 3 instrument panels (F-00031, F-00023 and F-1202O), the Fuselage Side Covers (F-00032) and the Wing Electrical Brackets (F-00034).
Trimmed the excess corners form the F-00030 Skyview Reinf Angle per the plans and deburred the edges.
Looking at the plans and the instrument panels I have, the left panel (F-00031 SV Update) does not have the openings for the ELT and intercom but my original right panel has those holes. Will contact Van's which is better to do, get the new right and left panels or use what I have but install the ELT and intercom on the right side, as in the old plans.
