Have not worked on the aircraft for the last few weeks because I'm moving to South Carolina. I was able to lease a hangar at the Fairfield Co. Airport (Winnsboro, SC). It is about 33 miles from where I will be living but it is the nearest hangar I could get. I have been spending time in the garage planning how to move the various airplane parts which are now really big pieces or assemblies. I've also been packing my tools and the small airplane parts in boxes. I had contacted Tony Partain Transport to move the airplane but our schedules would not match. I will have to move the aircraft myself.
Today I separated the 2 halves of the nosewheel. Applied talcum powder on the inner tube and the inside of the tire. Reassembled the nose wheel and did several inflations and deflations of the inner tube tube to allow proper seating inside the tire.
