Brief Description: Prepped the Upper Fwd Fuse Skin & other parts
The high temp (copper) gasket sealant I applied a few days ago did not stick well in areas where the surface was smooth (most of the firewall). Rubbing it with a finger was enough to peel it off. I removed most of it and will replace it with firewall sealant once my order arrives. Fabricated the F-1240C Clip; created the bend at the center and match-drilled holes. Primed it and the F-1240B Cover Plate after deburring the edges. Bent the forward edge of the F-1240 Upper Fwd Fuselage Skin, final-drilled the larger holes and dimpled all the holes. Dimpled holes in the1202D Panel Attach Strips and nutplates. Primed the Upper Fwd Fuse Skin and the Attach Strips. Riveted nutplates to the Strips.
