Brief Description: Worked on Rudder Pedal Assembly
Clamped the WD-1206 Rudder Pedals with the F-1235A & B Rudder Pedal Blocks. Attached (temporarily) the Brake Mast Cylinders for the right side rudder pedals and match-drilled the WD-1211 Brake Pedal Torque Tubes. This was slow. Drilling through steel with an electric drill is always slow and tedious. Repeated this step to the left side rudder pedals. I started to install the F-1290 Pedal Blocks and the AN4-15A bolt would not fit in the holes. I had overlooked a step - to final-drill to 1/4 the Brake Pedals and Torque Tubes. I had to disassemble the Rudder Pedal Assembly and repeat Steps 1-4 of Page 27-03. I was able to complete these steps and bolted the Pedal Blocks.
