Brief Description: Work on R Outbd Wing Skin and lighting system
Prepped the W-1203-R Outbd Wing Skin and final drilled 3/8 the hole for the tie-down ring. Deburred the edges. Since I'm installing the lighting system concurrently, I marked the opening for the landing light and cut it using a half-moon cutter blade and electric body saw. I then used a hand nibler to trim the edges close to the marked line. I bent the leading edge slightly while applying pressure to mark the rivet holes using a spring loaded pin punch. I spent a lot of time fixing it. The dent is still noticeable, though. Match-drilled the holes and deburred them. I tried to fit/position the landing light lens to match-drill it but it was difficult to do it alone. Also, I don't have a #30 plexi bit. I'll install the lens later after the Outbd Wing Skin is riveted. Deburred the W-1223E Lens Backing Strip and dimpled the nutplate attach holes and th nutplates. Separated the W-1223B Landing Light Ribs and deburred the edges. Primed the Ribs, Strips and Outbd Wing skin.
