Brief Description:  Riveting of Side and Upper Skins.

Another very productive day. Worked on the airplane all day except for a short break to mow the yard. Still have to do the other chores. Inserted snap bushings into the F-1238 Brackets. Routed a string from the from the front to the F-1211 Bulkhead Assembly and back. Riveted the Side Skins (F-1280) and the lower part of the Upper Skins (F-1279). Riveted nutplates to the Fwd Skin Rib. Match drilled the 2 holes into the F-1210 C Angle and deburred the holes. I did not properly "break" the edges of the F-1278 Top Skin in a previous step. I had used a hand seamer and bent about 1/2 inch from the edge. I straightened the edges with the seamer and then used an edge rolling tool. This worked and looked better. Primed the Top Skin and once dry, clecoed it to the Assembly. The fit was generally good except for the left side between the F-1209 and F-1209 Frames where some holes did not line up perfectly. A few clecoes tilted sideways. After some minor repositioning of the clecoes, they straightened up. I've asked the EAA Technical Counselor to take a look at the work I've done since his last visit in June 2009 and then wil rivet the Top Skin.
