My garage is packed and I need space to work on the Fuselage. The right wing is still on the workbench and don't have a wing stand to put it on. I have been looking at the different wing stands inthe Forums and the most common one made is the "EAA" stand. There is another one where the spars sit on a piece of 2X4 and the wings are supported by a carpet (or fire hose) sling. I decided to make one similar to this with some modification. I have an extra dolly with castering wheels that I had gotten from Harbor Freight and decided to use it to support one end of the stand. Went to Home Depot and bought some lumber and cut several pieces. I finished the square-shaped end and installed lockable castering wheels. Will continue tomorrow.
