Brief Description: Taxi tests and pre-flight inspection
Installed the Top Cowl, the Flap Handle boot and new Control Stick boots. Placed the required documents (Weight & Balance, Operating Limitations and FAA Form 8130-7 Airworthiness Certificate) in the aircraft. Checked the flight control systems. Started the engine, warmed it up and did more taxi tests, including "high speed" taxi's on the runway. Also did wide open throttle checks, brake tests and ignitions checks. All the systems were OK. The fuel pressure was intermittently in the high yellow range on start up but drops momentarily in the low yellow range at high RPM. This has been observed in other RV-12s with no good explanation or reported harm.
