Brief Description: Bearing Bracket Brace Service Bulletin
The plane has not flown yet and this SB is not necessary but since it is easier to do it now while the plane is still being built. Disconnected the Flaperon Pushrod Assemblies from the WD-1215 Flaperon Torque Arms. Used an angle drill to remove the rivets that attach the F-1206F Bearing Bracket Brace to the F-1206G Baggage Rib and F-1206A Bulkhead. This was easier than I anticipated. I used a modified spring-loaded pin punch (described in the VAF forum) to remove the mandrels. Cut the F-1206J Bearing Bracket Angle to make the left and right pieces and deburred the edges. I will prime them before riveting together.
