Brief Description:  Condition inspection

Performing Condition Inspection. Removed the Baggage Bulkhead Corrugation, seat covers and tunnel covers. Inspected the wires, tubings and cables, and all looked good. No fuel leaks noted in the tunnel. Fuel stains were noted on the bottom outboard and lower left corner of the fuel tank. Shortened and bent the oil vent line at the oil tank connection to have more clearance between the line and the right carburetor air filter. There was a depression in the air filter from the oil vent line. After the changes got 5/8 inch of clearance between the oil vent line and air filter. Replaced the rubber connector between the oil vent line and the oil tank nipple. Drained the fuel tank in preparation for removal and repair of the fuel tank leaks. Cut a hole in the bottom cowl where the left front exhaust spring is rubbing against the cowl. Removed the safety wires from the springs.
