Brief Description:  Checked brake lines, placed original panel screws

Inspected the the new brake lines and fittings and I did not see any leak. Applied strong pressure on the brake pedals and the pressure is firm with no softness. Checked the fuel line connections in the Tunnel again and no leak was noted.

Drilled the broken screw that secures the Ignition Module. I was not able to completely drill it out. Tapped the hole and tried using a shorter screw but it would not catch the threads. What happened was the aluminum stand-off where the screw inserts has become loose. Pulled the Skyview EFIS from the Panel so I can reach the hex stand-off and hold it with a small wrench while I inserted and tightened the shortened screw. Applied Krazy Glue to the ends of the stand-off but I don't know if this will permanently bind it to the plates of the IgnitionModule. The other broken screw was easily removed using a left hand drilled bit that was loaned to me by a fellow homebuilder.

Replaced most of the brass screws with the original stainless steel screws (AN507-632). The former are soft and broke easily. They were more trouble than the regular screws.

Went to the Skyview setup and changed the K-value of the pulses/gallon in Pin 14 from the default of 60000 to 68000. This was suggested in the VAF forum. I'll see if this corrects the frequent high fuel flow alarm. I left the K-value of Pin 19 at 60000.

Replaced the Tunnel Cover and fire extinguisher bracket and the top cowl.
