Brief Description:  Replaced brakelines, tightened fittings

PAP F0-4: Bent the stall warning vane downward a bit. The buzzer comes on about 3 KIAS before the stall break.

Tightened the fuel line fittings in the tunnel very slightly, although I did not see any visible leak. I had noticed a faint fuel smell at high RPM. Removed the top cowl and inspected the fuel lines and carbs. There is no sign or trace of fuel leak on the engine.

Covered 4 holes in the middle lower firewall (in the Tunnel) with red RTV. The holes are the rivet attach holes for 2 nutplates that used flat head pulled rivets and the stems were completed pulled out.

35-05: There is a small leak of brake fluid at the fitting that connects the left F-1289D Caliper Brake Line to the U-1203 Inboard Main Gear Attach Bracket. I've tightened the fitting a few times and the leak only got worse. I'm not sure if there is a defect with the flare of the aluminum tubing or the male fitting. I decided to replace the left and right F-1289D brake lines with braided stainless steel lines from Aircraft Specialty. Purged the brake system after installing the new lines and secured the lines to the main gear legs with tie wraps. I clocked the fitting in the right brake caliper aft (turned clockwise) because the brake line would be positioned very close to the brake disc. I was afraid that if I tried to turn the fitting another 180 degres so it will face forward something might break.
