Could not finish the wiring in the R Wing because I don't have the replacement screws and nuts yet. So, I started work on the Flaperon today. I have read the plans on fabricating parts from solid aluminum and felt intimidated, Today, it felt right to work on them. Cut 4 pieces from the AEX Tie Down to make A-1206 Pivot Doublers later. I used a multifunction tool with a half-moon cutter. It was slow and noisy but it worked well. I made the A-1207-L Actuation Bracket. This involved cutting solid aluminum followed by a lot of filing, grinding, deburring and sanding. There repeated measuring followed by grinding to make sure the part was within specs. I think the part looks OK.
